Nightfire Sweater kids

The Nightfire Sweater kids is the kids’ version of the adult Nightfire sweater. Apart from gauge and a slight change in the colorwork, they are both basically the same (adult version comes with instructions for short sleeves). It is a top-down compound raglan sweater worked seamlessly with a colorwork motif at the bottom of the body and the sleeve.

Gauge: 15 sts & 23 rows = 4x4’’/10x10 cm

Gauge was measured on stockinette stitch knit flat after wet blocking, using main fabric needle.

Newborn (3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 18 months) (2 years, 4 years, 6 years, 8 years, 10 years)

Choose the size that will fit the way you would prefer based on positive ease. I would recommend choosing a size with 15-25 cm/6-10” of positive ease, based on your preference.

10 y: 15-25 cm

Sample was knit using Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino (50 g = 125 m) for MC and a skein of unidentified hand-dyed yarn for CC. The yardage for CC has been calculated based on Heavy Merino.
