Flip Sweater

The Flip sweater is a top-down raglan worked flat in reverse stockinette. It has a button band at the center back which is knit at the same time as the rest of the sweater - therefore there is no need to pick up any additional stitches apart from a few stitches under the arm when starting the sleeves. The raglan and button band continue seamlessly from the collar creating an infinity contrast to the reverse stockinette.

Choose the size that will fit you the way you would prefer based on positive ease and your own personal measurements. The blue sample is knit with 1 cm of positive ease and the green sample is knit with 4 cm of positive ease, measured at the bust. I would recommend choosing a size with 0-10 cm of positive ease, based on your preference.

Gauge was measured on stockinette stitch knit flat after wet blocking, using main fabric needle.

Suggested yarn: Samples are knit using one strand of Knitting for Olive Merino (50g = 250m) and one strand of Isager Alpaca 1 (50g = 400m). Substitute for another fingering-weight yarn held together with a lace-weight yarn or one strand of DK-weight yarn or any yarn option that meets gauge.
